"You've always had the power, my dear, you've just had to learn it for yourself"
The Wizard of Oz
I am certified in Reiki energy healing, but let me share a secret: SO ARE YOU.
It's true. You don't need a certification to access your power. Anyone can practice space clearing or incorporate Feng Shui principles into their home, as both are based on universal energies that everyone with the will to do so can work with.
From the moment we enter the world, we are deeply attuned to the subtle energies around us. As children, we trust our instincts, sense unseen forces, and follow our curiosity and creativity without hesitation. But as we grow older, societal conditioning, skepticism, and self-doubt often silence this natural connection, causing us to forget our innate power.
However, just because something is forgotten doesn’t mean it is lost forever.
Reconnecting with our intuition, psychic abilities, and inner magic is a process of remembering, realigning, and reclaiming what has always been within us. And like any skill, they grow stronger with practice. After all, that’s why it’s called a practice—because it evolves, deepens, and strengthens with time and repetition.
In this post I'll share the secrets to witchcraft, energy work and other intuitive practices so you can access the power within. I want you to expand into the fullest version of yourself because it takes all of us together to make the world a better place.
“Witchcraft is more than just a practice; it is a way of life… We are in tune with nature, in tune with ourselves, and in alignment with our all-knowing inner witch.”
Dacha Avelin
The Magic Within You
It’s human nature to want to learn, discover new ways of being, and follow our curiosity. For many of us, that looks like optimizing our morning routine, productivity practices, team management techniques, or becoming better partners, parents, friends etc. For others we seek to become more enlightened, spiritually connected human beings.
The spiritual path to awareness is the most personal endeavour one can take on. You don’t have to be a yogi, meditatation guru, healer or herbalist. It’s more important to tune into what your soul calls you to do, to find faith in your inner voice, to create opportunities to experience fulfilment.
"Spirituality is part self-inquiry, part self-refinement, and a whole lot of guesswork. The deeper you go, the clearer it becomes that we’re all navigating our own heart-led experiences. And each heart will need something a little different.Keep asking your heart for what it needs and nourish your spirit in ways that speak most profoundly to you. Put one foot in front of the other and trust every step along the way.You can’t mess it up."

If you don’t resonate with the word “psychic” or "healer," that's fine. But like it or not, you are an energy worker. You are spiritual being, having a physical experience. You have feelings, nudges, hunches, and intuitive insights that come by you. You are absorbing data and experiences and energies around you all of the time. You are communicating beyond this earthly realm.
Some of us are born with stronger intuition than others. Some of us are ancestrally given, and some take the time to lift their veil then in the future want to develop and work on this. Both are valid.
Magic is the art of controlling and directing energy. And in this day and age of propaganda, media and technology, if you are not controlling your own energy, then you are being controlled.
Energy healing is not something that only a chosen few can access. There is a universal life force that flows through all of us, It is the same energy that fuels art, intuition, magic, and healing in countless traditions across the world.
The more your psychic senses heighten and deepen over time the more you begin to recognize, feel and respect your presence in the interconnected web of life that we're all a part of.
Your power is not something granted by an external authority; it is an innate gift that simply needs to be recognized, trusted, and cultivated through practice.

The ability to harness, move and manipulate energy is the pillar of witchcraft, so take your time and expirement to find what works best for you.
What makes Reiki effective is belief, intention, and consistency. The more you engage with energy work—whether through hands-on healing, visualization, or breathwork—the stronger your connection becomes. Healing energy is not limited to symbols or formal attunements; it is activated by your awareness and willingness to work with it. As with any spiritual practice, the key lies in trusting yourself and your own experiences rather than seeking validation from external titles. Energy flows where intention goes, and when you believe in your ability to heal, you open the door for transformation.
There is no singular path to awakening your inner power. Magic is deeply personal, and no two practitioners experience it the same way. Your intuition, energy, and connection to the unseen are uniquely yours—and the more you embrace them, the stronger they become.
Rather than searching for power outside of yourself, start by recognizing that you already have it. You do not need permission to be intuitive. You do not need validation to believe in your magic. You simply need to practice tuning in and trusting yourself again.
"We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all the power we need inside ourselves already."
J.K. Rowling
Cultural Lens
Spiritual wisdom, secrets, and tools have been passed down for generations through oral traditions, rituals, sacred texts, and lived experiences. Many cultures view their spiritual knowledge as a sacred inheritance rather than something to be commodified.
Native American tribes share their teachings through storytelling, ceremonies, and apprenticeships with elders, ensuring that their wisdom remains within the community and is respected rather than exploited.
Wiccan traditions emphasize learning through mentorship (often in covens), maintaining a deep reverence for nature and ancestral practices rather than commercializing their spiritual path
Taoist masters in China or Hindu yogic traditions, pass knowledge through direct teacher-student lineages, preserving integrity and depth in their teachings.
All of these groups often resist the commercialization of their sacred practices, believing that true spiritual power cannot be bought but must be earned through dedication, respect, and inner transformation.
"I was taught by my elders that spiritual medicine comes from self. Our spirit and energy are attached to these medicines, so it’s important not to take spirit medicine from just anyone—and don’t buy it. Don’t pay to pray."
Megan Bull Bear
Some cultures and communities gatekeep their sacred wisdom to prevent appropriation, distortion, or commercialization, ensuring that teachings are preserved with integrity and respect. However, spiritual gatekeeping can also take a harmful form when individuals or institutions use their perceived moral superiority to exclude, judge, or withhold knowledge from those they deem unworthy.
This of course only reinforces toxic oppressive systems, hierarchy and elitism. The key distinction lies in whether gatekeeping serves to protect sacred traditions, or simply to restrict and control access for personal power.
The truth: You don't need any external resources to practice something that is your universal birthright. Your magick should not be monetized. Your craft should not be commodified.
Breaking the Cycle of Capitalism
While a certification can offer structure and guidance, it does not determine the validity of one’s ability to channel energy.
The truth:
You don't need an expensive course or masterclass to do energy work, unless you genuinely want to deepen your craft and knowledge and have the money to spare.
You don't need to support capitalism to do something that is your universal birthright.
You don't need to support out of touch, privileged people in furthering their status and perpetuating the wealth divide
You do not need to buy anything to teach you how to connect to your ancestors or assist you on your spiritual journey.
What you do need to do:
Trust that you can connect with your power at the wave of your hand or at the tilt of your head
Create the space for growth and connection
Proceed with caution as there is no centralized governing or accrediting body for this industry.
Trust the following to guide you through: Your Body, Your Intuition, Your Values.
Living Authentically
Are you still in the "broom closet"? Stop hiding your truth. Stop waiting for permission. Stop waiting for external validation, stability, or the “right” moment to claim your spirituality.
It's normal for intuitives and even experienced practitioners to minimize or hide their spiritual identity due to fear of judgment or ridicule, internalized shame, or cultural rejection. Our colonized, patriarchal world fears the unknown and was built on controlling, separating and manipulating us, hoping we'd forget our power. Of course you wouldn't feel fully safe to express yourself.
But suppressing our spiritual gifts doesn’t make them go away—it causes inner unrest and dis-ease.
Coming out might mean losing followers, approval, or relationships. But in return you also gain freedom, sovereignty joy, and a deep sense of home in your own soul. Let your work, presence, and everyday actions become your sacred offering.
You have to know that you are not alone. Many others are walking this path too, in so many different ways - quietly and loudly. Your bravery might be the light someone else needs to step forward.
Being a mystic in a material world is an act of rebellion and resistance. It's also one of rememberance, aligning with your soul's truth and your ancestral past.
Awakening & Activating Your Inner Power
Feeling ready to connect with your innate intuition and magic, but you don’t know where to start?
The practices below are the core foundation stones that the rest of your skills and tools are built on. Once these feel solid and comfortable you can always go deeper. and wider because the craft is endlessly layered dynamic, and always shifting- just like you. The journey of learning and experimenting is lifelong.
Your power lives in your awareness: when you notice how your body feels, what environments uplift or drain you, and where your intuition guides you, you’re tuning in to your energetic presence. The more you practice sensing and trusting this awareness, the stronger and clearer your energy becomes.
Start where you are and go at your own pace. Don't let toxic productivity or hustle culture shame or guilt you into feeling lazy, inadequate, or not enough. This work should never feel like a chore. It doesnt have to be consistent, perfect or planned. Your witchcraft or energy practice is yours, and your alone.
Learning to locate, access and play with your personal energy field is an exciting experience that is different for everyone. Here's how to start
Stand quietly and turn your attention inward — close your eyes, breathe deeply, and notice any subtle sensations around your body, especially the space just beyond your skin.
Visualize your energy as a pole or beam of light that runs through your body from head to toe, strongest in the center and radiating outward
Move your energy around from your core to your limbs. Concentrate your energy into your hands
Slowly rub your hands together for a few seconds, then slowly pull them apart and bring them close again
Hover your hands above head and bring them down along your body, like a cloak. Continue with closing your eyes, breathing deeply, and noticing how feelings shift around your energy field.
Feel for sensations and changes in person as you go. Tingling, warmth, or tension is your energy field in action.

This list is far from exhaustive. Get creative with your resources and think about their meaning and symbolism. THAT is how you make magick.
The best spellwork and lightwork starts with YOU. Your mindset, your energy, your intention. You don’t even need tools or resources- just a clear heart and a focused intention.
Reclaiming Your Magic is a Journey, Not a Destination
Awakening your inner power is not about perfection—it’s about practice, patience, and trust. Your intuition and magic have always been with you; they simply need to be acknowledged and nurtured. By trusting your inner voice, and embracing your unique path and rituals that resonate, you reclaim the wisdom that has been within you all along.
As the modern resurgence of witchcraft and spiritual practices grows, we are in an era of remembering. Remembering traditions, remembering our ancestors, remembering our voice and remembering our power.
EVERYONE is a witch or a wizard, practicing magic even if they don't realize it.
When you speak or write, that's SPELLWORK. (That's why it's called 'spelling!')
When you shift your mood with music, scent, or spaces, that's ENERGY CLEARING.
When you take raw ingredients and turn them into a nourishing meal, that's ALCHEMY.
When you light a candle and make a wish, speak a prayer. or hope with your whole chest, that's RITUAL.
Most people do these things unconsciously. But it's time to awaken to their truth, remembering and honoring your ancient and natural power. It's ok to call it what it is. Own it, Live it, embody it, thrive in it.
Remember, we ALL have magick within us. You don’t need a special certification to begin working with energy in your space. Intuition and intention, awareness and purpose are the most crucial part of the practice. Your relationship with energy is personal and one of a kind, and the most powerful tool you have is your own connection to it.
That being said, a trained and certified practitioner will almost always have a more nuanced understanding of energy patterns, remedies, and personalized solutions and be able to provide deeper knowledge, structured techniques, and cultural context for your space.
These steps above can help you get started in your own practice but if you're still not feeling confident and capable, I'm here for you.
You don’t need more magic in your life - you simply need more awareness that YOU are the magic. The more you connect with your intuition and inner self, the more powerful you become. Your truth is waiting. Are you ready to reclaim it?
"Spirituality isn't something you earn, it's something you remember. Even in your busiest, messiest most human moments, the sacred still lives in you."
